Attention budding playwrights, authors and creative types! Have you ever wanted to see your ideas come to life right before your eyes? This class may the right fit for you. Throughout the year students will work together to develop a plot, characters, dialogue and stage directions and compose them into a script! Then after the play has been written, students will get the opportunity to direct, design and perform in the play that they all worked together to create. We will focus on collaboration, proper formatting of a play, character development, plot narratives and the different styles of playwriting, all while creative a piece of art that the students will get to see through from beginning to end.
