Scottish country dance is a great opportunity to get to know other students and get some exercise learning dances. The dances are made up of steps where pairs are grouped in sets of three, four, six, or eight, facing each other in lines or squares. If you're not sure what to expect: think formal English Country Dancing meets Square Dancing and then take away the formal add in a lot of jumping. It's a whole lot of fun for all students! This class will focus more on having fun learning dances than precision in foot technique. The only requirement is to come to class willing to participate and the ability to count to 8.
