This 90-minute course covers a variety of information essential to the basics of the Spanish language. Students will develop skills to communicate in all four modes of commutation - speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Topics include introductory conversations, telling time, the Spanish alphabet, school classes & schedules, food & mealtime, extracurricular activities, sports, places around town, giving and receiving directions, family, descriptions of people and things, home, chores, clothing, shopping, and much more! Students will be challenged to expand their worldview to consider various Spanish-speaking cultures and how to interact with Spanish-speaking populations respectfully and accurately. God created language — Biblical integration is included in each chapter unit. Students will learn to apply their knowledge of the Bible and theology into their study of the Spanish language.
NOTE: This course could be used for high school credit
