Want to boost your child’s confidence and self expression? Explore acting in a fun, safe environment. This class will aid students in a variety of areas, including leadership, confidence, communication, public speaking, listening, and teamwork. Students will learn to harness their imagination and creativity through fun theatre games and exercises that teach character development, storytelling, expression, and ensemble building in a stress-free environment. These classes continually build on knowledge and skills learned in previous years, so returning students are always welcome and will have room to grow in their dramatic craft. Although we will give a fun presentation for the parents at the end of each semester, the focus will be more on skills and less on performance. Students will perform at the end of fall and spring semester. Students will need to bring a folder with pockets. Students/Parents are responsible for providing their own costumes.
