In music appreciation class, students will learn the art of music listening, listening carefully to music through understanding its basic building blocks. We will listen to some of the Greats, learn the basics of music history, explore various instruments, discuss well-known pieces or music, and introduce sight reading. Students will sing songs together and also dabble in composing their own songs. Students will be exposed to a little bit of everything!! This class is for students who have little to no formal music training.
