Hooks, Pins, & Needles: Learn how to crochet and sew
4th-12th
Grades
This class will focus on two very useful handicrafts. It’s taught from a beginner level but it’s very important to respect the age requirements since we’ll be moving quickly through techniques and students will need to be able to practice independently at home. The fall semester will cover some basic crochet stitches and students will be able to create their own scarf or hat, depending on their skill level. In the spring we’ll explore various hand sewing and mending skills culminating in a tbd project. Fee covers all supplies and students will be able to take their tools/kits with them at the end of the year.
