In this volleyball class, students will learn basic and intermediate volleyball skills and knowledge. The students/players will learn how to set (bump sets, back sets and regular sets), serve (over and under hand), hit (spiking or sending the ball onto the opposing team's side of the court), and dig the ball (receiving the ball and sending it to a spot in which the setter can set the ball to another teammate). The students will be split up into two teams and play against each other to allow them to show improvement and volleyball skills. Most regular games of volleyball are best of 3 or 5 rounds depending on the level of play. Each round is played till a team gets 25 points with a lead of at least 2 points until the last round which is played to 15 points with a lead of at least 2 points.
